Yeah.. its best not to mix alcohol and explosives ( crackers/bombs )...! So yes... lets save the drink for some other occasion when we can afford to get a bit intoxicated...!

well.. i wished for a pollution free Diwali, but i suppose i have to settle with a somewhat-less-pollution Diwali...! Oh and yes.. nice comedy.. me and my idealistic views...! When will i ever learn..!?
Oh and like philip said, we can have many ways to celebrate a pollution less diwali... like maybe laser shows. Or at least have community fireworks displays like in the US... where residents hire a team of professional pyro-technicians to organize a fireworks event...! Otherwise its illegal in most US states to even possess fireworks..!
